3 things I loved about SF Climate Week 2025

I got back from SF Climate Week late last night and thought I'd share three quick thoughts, perhaps especially for people considering going next year.
It was good for my business
I made a lot of connections with people and companies that I think are going to present good opportunities to grow our impact together. Being on site. in SF, with peers, was also just good to level up my thinking about my consulting work.
It was good for my heart
A saw a lot of inspiring speakers and people genuinely motivated to change humanity's relationship with the earth. There was an appropriate sense of urgency. I'm skeptical of scenes like that, frankly, but when I opened my mind to magic, it just walked right up and embraced me, time and time again. Check out the short video profiles of this year's Goldman Prize winners for a sense of it.
I loved San Francisco!
The Climate Week events were distributed around town. I took a bike helmet and rented Lyft bikes, Google maps navigation in my ears. It was an absolute joy.
I'm glad to be home, now there's a ton of follow up to do.
And now, our daily summaries of 178 selected updates from around the world of green tech and sustainability.
