The Opportunities Hidden Inside Information Overload

Information overload is a fundamental inefficiency in our movements and our markets. Not because of how much information there is - but because of how much good stuff the overload causes us to miss because we're overwhelmed.
It's a paradox: there's so much information on the internet that we may as well not see any at all; or at least we never see some of the most important developments that could greatly benefit our work. That's an inefficiency I'd like to help resolve with the tech and strategy behind the Earth Catalyst newsletters.
Each week we monitor over 1,100 green tech, sustainability, and news organizations for updates and we send each subscriber the 15 items that we think will be most valuable to you based on your very personal interests. We're always refining that strategy, too. Next week we'll start experimenting with an "as needed" option - sending out just the very most important news aligned with your interests.
Compounding Advantage
My hope is that while other people leave their discoveries of new risks and opportunities up to chance, or friends, or general purpose social media algorithms - as a subscriber to our newsletter you'll be able to more consistently see these important developments and opportunities in your field, via our personalized recommendations. And that advantage you have will compound over time.
Give it a try via the Subscribe button above, if you haven't already. I hope you find it incredibly interesting and useful.
Examples
Here are some great updates I hadn't seen this week until my Earth Catalyst newsletters arrived in my inbox. (I subscribed more than once, with a different set of interests each time.)
Global clean energy investment is expected to reach a record $2.2 trillion in 2025, doubling fossil fuel investments, according to a new IEA report.
UK government mandates solar panels as default requirement for new homes under Future Homes Standard, aiming to reduce energy bills and boost clean energy adoption.
Macquarie and BCI complete £707M acquisition of European waste-to-product company Renewi, aiming to enhance recycling capabilities and circular economy initiatives.
And many more! But those were some of the best of the best. I hope you'll sign up and get some recommendations just for you.
